Plant Total RNA Extraction Kit
After a decade of optimization and thousands of extraction tests, LifeScience developed a proprietary RNA isolation kit. Using this kit, you can obtain high-quality RNA from a variety of plant samples, including those containing a high amount of polysaccharides, proteins, and polyphenols. The kit takes advantage of the ability to absorb polysaccharides of a compound and keep the compound-polysaccharides complexes unstable with high concentrations of salts to remove polysaccharides from extraction mixtures. This method obtains high-quality RNA from many plant specimens with high yields, including cotton, aloe, cactus, wheat seeds, mango, purslane, popular tree, callus of pine tree, peony buds/roots, and more.
The flexibility of extraction scales, from 1.6 ml microtube to 50 ml tubes, meets downstream experiment requirements by producing 20 to 500ug total RNA with a single extraction. The RNA extracted can be used in experiments that require high-quality RNA, such as RACE, mRNA amplification, transcriptome sequencing, SSH, and cDNA library construction.
